Site-wide rules:

1. Keep the language to PG-13. It is widely considered impolite to use curse words publicly in real life, and the Internet isn't any different. This includes inappropriate or offensive images/videos.
2. All forms of spam are NOT tolerated (such as overuse of smileys/images, one liners, off-topic, all caps, etc).
3. No double posting. This means two posts in a row by the same user. Use the edit button if you need to add something.
4. No fighting/flaming fellow users or websites. Debates are fine, but do not get out of control.
5. No mini-modding on the forums, which is when a user posts "You should not be doing this or that" - click the Report to Moderator button and we will handle things from there.
6. No advertising beyond the Website Advertising board (when you have met the requirements, of course) and signatures. Mass inviting users to join your website via PM is also not permitted.
7. Use proper grammar and spelling. Not only does it reflect on your level of knowledge, but if there's ever a time where you need assistance from the staff and we cannot read what you've said, then we are unable to help you.

Chatbox-specific rules:

1. While swearing is allowed, please respect other users' wishes. If someone else is uncomfortable with the current topic or the language, respect them and stop swearing. Also, swearing just for the sake of swearing can warrant you a ban.
2. Please don't cause/stir drama or seek attention. Meaning, continuously drawing attention to yourself by saying something like, "IMMA SICK OF THIS, I'M LEAVING". This is classified as drama, and you may receive a 5 minute ban. Quote: It's better to instant-ban someone for 5 minutes or an hour than letting them crap themselves to a permanent one.
3. When an administrator or moderator warns you to stop, then stop with no arguments. Their words are final.
4. Impersonating another user is an offense and will result in a minimum 3 day ban. This includes but is not limited to: using someone else's nick, a variant of another user's nick, or tricking others thinking that you're someone else. This is especially critical if you damage a user's reputation by any means, or you attempt to impersonate a staff member.
5. Try to maintain a civilized manner at all times. Don't be rude to others, and try to welcome newcomers.
6. Keep roleplaying to a minimum (aka RPing). Most users find it annoying. For example:
   • Person 1: *Roars and flamethrowers person 2*
   • Person 2: *Dodges and attacks Person 1*
   • Person 1: *Is hit and cries*
   • Person 3: *Slashes Person 2*
7. No constant coloured fonts. This is very annoying, as it usually hurts people's eyes. No constant avatar changing either, it's a nuisance.
8. There is a limit of 3 nicknames per person. Please use them, as there are others who might want it. There will be an account purge at the end of each month, and if a registered nick has not been used during that month, it will be deleted.
9. The chatbox doesn't have the need for speed, don't post too quickly. Users can get lost in it. The chatbox is for everyone, so let others talk too.

Extra - Protips:

• Try not to quote huge posts. Just quote the part that relates to your reply.
• Do not ask to be promoted to an administrator or moderator, we will decide who is worthy of such position.
• Be sure to read the rules in certain boards, as they may contain important information.
