Okay, be quiet, I know we haven't updated for a month or so but it's not like we've had anything to update about.
Okay, fine, that's a lie.
I've neglected to mention that we recently affiliated with The Silver Islands. TSI is a wonderful and creative site that has pagefuls of interesting and useful information about pokemon. Definitely worth visiting. They even have an IRC channel which can be found somewhere on their website, and they also have a nice forum.
Also, thank you to everyone who has posted and pretty much kept HoR alive for the past few weeks, especially [DoubleUber], Ran, Hooh, Righteousness, and for the sake of mentioning's sake, also Presea, one of our IRC staff who's helped us with many things on the site. Although the activity has dropped again for the last week or so, it was/is nice to see activity once in a while.
Anyway, happy valentine's day to you all, enjoy your chocolates, flowers, and whatever it is that you people do on valentine's day. It's not like it's anything other than a FOREVER ALONE day for sad young people like me. Only kidding. Enjoy your love hearts, people!

Merry Christmas, Ho-Oh's Realm!
First of all, we would like to apologise for the lack of activity and updates on the site, as nearly everyone has been immensely busy as of late. Despite this fact, we still do exist, and are more than happy to answer any questions anyone has, so feel free to PM a staff member or talk to someone on the IRC network (or shoutbox).
Anyway, down to the new things:
- The same awesome Christmas clock from last year is back up! You can find it at the bottom of the right-hand column on the main site.
- The snowflake version of Ho-Oh's Realm is back online. You can visit it by clicking on "Snowflake HoR" on the navigation menus or by visiting http://www.ho-ohrealm.net/snowflake-hor.html. There are reports of this page not working correctly on Chrome due to iframe issues, and if anyone has any ideas on why this would be the case, please email

. Also, this page can lag due to fact that it can be a heavy load, as the snowflakes are generated by javascript. This page and the clock will only be available for a limited time only.
- IRC bouncer page is now up and fully functional. A login area and a server status checker are available on the bouncer page. IPv6 is now also available but not implemented into the request system, so if you do want IPv6, please speak to an administrator.
- The Pokemon Online server will be returning soon.
- New Pokemon and Ho-Oh content has been added to the site, so take a look!
There's not much else that's worth noting, but if you have suggestions, please tell an admin! Once again, Merry Christmas everyone and have a Happy New Year! And oh, to everyone who this applies to, have a happy holiday.

Hey everyone!
As we've just entered the new year (2 and a half weeks actually), we've also updated the site to keep up with the times. We apologise for not updating earlier, as nearly all the staff were busy with other things such as school etc., but here we are with the newest updates:
- The Pokemon Online server has been brought back online, fully updated and functional. Server name is Ho-Oh's Realm, and advanced connection DNS is flame.ho-ohrealm.net:5080. Find more information at http://www.ho-ohrealm.net/pokemononline.
- The Ho-Oh pokedex entry page has been fully updated with information and sprites from the Black and White games, and the movelists have been updated to include all the generations (except for gen I, since Ho-Oh didn't exist back then).
- Minor fixes to the staff page and Ho-Oh cards page.
- New "Forest Green" cbox theme!
- HGSS information has been added to the Ho-Oh FAQ page.
Not too much, but there's more to come as the year progresses. On another note, please welcome The Cave of Dragonflies as our newest affiliate! TCoD is a wonderful site with a whole lot of amazing information regarding pokemon, so check them out! Anyway, happy (late) 2012, Ho-Oh's Realm!

The Ho-Oh's Realm staff would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween!
On another note, we apologise for the lack of activity and updates on here. This is mainly due to school, stress, and in general, life (which we apparently have). Thank you to everyone who has made an effort to post and try and get this place back on its feet. Anyway, as pretty much all the staff are busy at this time of the year, we haven't really had any time to update/upgrade this place and so on. However, there have been several ideas put forth and we will be looking into implementing them in the coming weeks.
Because there has been quite a few requests, we may be holding a competition, although all the ones that we have held in the past (apart from one) have generally been cancelled due to lack of participants. If you have any ideas or you have prizes to offer for this competition, please email
