So, hi.
Thanks to Glacymr, we now have a Pokemon Online server! Pokemon Online is an online pokemon battling simulator, and allows you to battle other people using a team you can make on your client. All pokemon are included, as well as TM/HM moves, egg moves, etc. and you can even changes your pokemon's EVs or IVs, make them shiny, or change their happiness (for the sake of Return/Frustration).
If you want to download the client, you can download it at www.pokeymon-online.com and the direct download urls are in the forum topic at http://www.ho-ohrealm.net/forum/index.php?topic=267.0.
Ok, so, there might not be anyone on at the time, and if not, try going on the IRC and asking someone if they would like to battle with you. You can battle as much as you like, but there's a simple, very important rule:
Don't challenge someone over and over if they refuse your challenge the first time.
This CAN earn you a kick or even a ban from the server, so please, respect other people. If someone is being annoying, just put yourself on idle mode. The option is under Options -> Idle or you can right click on your nickname and click Go Away.
Once again, thanks to Glacymr for hosting this for us, as well as introducing us to it.
I guess this is it for now...and oh, I'm intending to bring the Philosophy Contest back to life, so keep in touch. I'm going to make a board and IRC channel for it, so keep in touch!

Services and flame.ho-ohrealm.net are down as of 30/5/2010, and it'll be back up in something like August. For now, use irc.ambernova.net or shadow.ambernova.net (port 6668), links are down below:

Just click on them, and if you use mIRC or similar, it should open in the client. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you need operator status in a channel, talk to an IRC Operator, the list can be viewed in the motd. The reason for the downtime is that Altair, the server hoster, is currently away, and the server magically collapsed during his disappearance. Basically Altair's computer died and yeah.
Once again, sorry for the inconvenience...the network administrators are currently thinking of ways to have a backup, but we have no ideas as of yet. If you have any ideas regarding a full services backup that'd be kept updated at all times, please PM one of the network administrators (Altair, Sneas or Nightshadow)!
flame.ho-ohrealm.net (The DNS) will be redirected to irc.ambernova.net/shadow.ambernova.net, and SSL will remain on port 6697. Sorry for the inconvenience (again).
New updates coming soon as well, which will be posted soon! Also, paintchat is down until Altair gets a stable connection or it is hosted somewhere else. Sorry.

Hey~
As most of you are aware, about two weeks ago the location of the server was hit by lightning and suffered a massive fire. The server seemed to be OK until I realized that lightning had came through the phone wires and had hit the ethernet port.
The new server is an upgrade from what we had (the old one was 10 years old, this one is only 4 xD). Everything from the Paintchat to the IRC is back to normal and will remain stable until I move back, which may be as late as Thanksgiving (Nov. 25).
Anyway, thanks for the patience and support over the past two weeks, it means a lot. ^^

Hey all~
Recently we experienced downtime, this was due to a server move. The site should now be faster due to (1) a more powerful server and (2) more efficient software. Everything is back in working order, including the IRC and imageboards.
We also will be adding content soon and we need feedback! Check the forums for more info.
In addition, we have a Paintchat now! This is a public room where everyone can draw and chat. Check it out by clicking the link that says "Paintchat".
Check out the new competition (somewhat unofficial) too! Happy Easter everyone!
